Commercial Manager

Role Description
I am seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to join our team. You will drive revenue growth and develop and execute strategic commercial initiatives. This key leadership role will play a vital part in shaping Pawa IT Solutions’ future.
You will be responsible for both new prospect acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships. In addition to leading sales efforts, you will lead a team of Sales Associates, Account Managers, and Marketing professionals.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
Lead the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and executing targeted sales campaigns.
Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop and manage pricing strategies, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably in the IT or cloud solutions industry.
Strong understanding of the African technology market and its growth potential.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Passion for technology and a desire to positively impact the African business landscape.
