Commercial Leasing Broker – Kenya Contract Manager Kenya

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for leading the landlord leasing function for CBRE Excellerate Kenya clients.  Build a pipeline of transactions to help Landlords to hit occupancy targets.

Key Responsibilities: 

Full responsibility for leasing space on behalf of CBRE Excellerate Kenya clients.
Responsibility for the leasing process across the CBRE Excellerate clients, from negotiations to ensuring the leases are accurately prepared and signed off.
Ensure all renewals and new leases are timeously negotiated and professionally compiled.
Responsibility for formulating a leasing strategy & producing accurate status reports.
Maintain positive relationships with all tenants and brokers.
Compile and distribute vacancy schedule to all brokers.
Manage and administer parking leases (monthly and lease based).
Maintain and grow broker and client relationships.
Preparation of and management of budgets.
To offer support to other business units as and when required.
Conduct research on rental trends.
Proactively marketing of space.
Management of 3rd party brokers and leasing consultants.

Qualifications:

B Degree in Property, Real Estate or Finance related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years leading deals in a commercial leasing environment, with a strong and proven track record.

Knowledge: 

Lease negotiating skills, networking skills, ability to understand contracts, dealing with local and international tenants, well connected in the industry to both brokers and clients.
