Job description
Overall Objective: To contribute positively towards the overall success of the Builders Warehouse Brand. To ensure Customer Satisfaction and enhance Profitability through of continuously growing profit targets
Functions / responsibilities:

Must be fluent in English
Management of local legislative requirements
Analysing and making recommendations on store financial performance
Management of customs clearance department
Management of VAT reporting for imports
Management of import requirements for clearing and payment of duties
Achieving financial targets on expenses
Implementing company strategies, policies and procedures
Ensure adherence to the correct implementation of systems, policies and procedures
Ensure integrity of all processes through carrying out scheduled operational audit checks
Responsible for managing Receiving & LIV
Responsible for managing stock
Responsible for managing Receiving
Responsible for managing petty cash
Responsible for managing sundry orders and payment
Responsible for managing Banking
Oversee Admin functions in store
Lead, manage and develop people
Responsible for ensuring WHT and foreign vendor payment processes are followed
MUST BE KENYA CITIZEN

Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification essential.
Commercial orientation / application of principles
Perform Regional Role for all in country stores pertaining to commercial administration
Knowledge of Country TAX /VAT requirements, Import clearance control, banking and reporting
Establishment of performance / development goals
Organisational awareness – demonstrating knowledge of policy, procedure and discipline
Accomplishing tasks
Team player
Display of managerial skills
Demonstrate planning, organizing and control skills
Demonstrating energy by maintaining high productivity level
Self-motivation
Computer literate: Ms Word, Excel (master level), Outlook
2-3 year retail experience at middle management level
Extensive knowledge and understanding of accounting
