Client Account Manager

Role Description:
Captivate Africa is looking for a Client Account Manager to lead the organization in building client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance as well as recommending new opportunities.
The Account manager will be accountable for developing new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. The Account Manager will also help in formulating strategic direction and devising business development initiatives for the agency.                                                                          
Roles & Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development:

Formulating strategic direction and devising business development initiatives for the agency.  
Developing new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
Enthusiastic about maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance as well as recommending new opportunities.      
Providing effective, efficient, professional service and advice to ensure client satisfaction of the highest level.
Attend all client briefs and training on delegated campaigns.
Client liaison support and services.
Client report back compilations on a weekly basis.

.  Project Management:

 Preparing budgets and allocations of payments to service providers to be approved by the Activation Manager.
Event coordination planning – Project plan, timelines.
Opening and updating of Job Bags per Campaign.
Opening and updating of critical path daily on every campaign.
Project costing, research and budget planning.
Budget management, spend and reconciliation (Cost vs Actuals).
Management of campaign elements.
Project research and strategic development.
Event coordination planning – Project plan, timelines.
Ensuring that all campaigns adhere to the standards that are stipulated by the centre/store management.
Ensuring all unit orders are completed and handed to the P&I Department on time.

3. Human Capital & Talent Management

Recruitment of promotional staff and conduct internal training sessions together with the Promoters’ coordinators.
Booking of promoters with the assistance from the Promoters’ coordinators.
Training of promotional staff when required.
Recruitment of Supervisors with assistance from the Promoters coordinators.
Management of preferred/external suppliers.

 Does this sound like you?

 2-3 years of experience driving revenue through building and maintaining client relationships.
Experience serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.  
 Experience in business development in the marketing agency sector, signage, outdoor advertising and activations.    
A highly energetic individual with hunger to succeed and achieve sales/client targets.
Fantastic relationship management skills – can easily engage with consumers.
Great interpersonal skills, as well as strong “problem-solving skills” and very detailed oriented.
A self-starter, reliable and independent – Able and willing to take initiative and put your best foot forward in everything.
You always lead from the front with high curiosity and a strong learning mindset.
Independent-minded with the ability to work autonomously to ensure efficient delivery. 
Flexible in working and adapting to changes/abrupt circumstances that come up during project implementation.
