Chief Of Staff

About the Role
SunCulture is looking for a Chief of Staff, reporting to the CEO.
Tasked with understanding every in and out of the organization, the ideal candidate for this role is both a strategic thinker and an executor, with excellent project management and collaboration skills. Leading with empathy and poise, the CoS will be equally comfortable working with employees, customers, and board members. He/She must be comfortable speaking truth to power, obsessively detail-oriented, and addicted to research and implementation on a variety of tasks.
Ultimately, the CoS will play a critical role in enabling the CEO to make better and faster decisions by informing the CEO what to focus on and giving key insight and help lead the company from the shadows.
Key Responsibilities

The CoS will have a varied set of responsibilities, spanning relationship management, strategic support, event planning, administration, and operations.
Strategic Execution: Thinking, prioritizing, and operating at least 3 steps ahead of the CEO, the CoS will anticipate problems, fix them before they occur, and then fix them again when everything changes. This will require both structured and creative thinking, a deep understanding of the complexities of the business, and excellent judgment.
Relationship Management: The CoS will lead building, maintaining, and organizing relationship management with prospective and current investors and partners, ensuring SunCulture maintains excellent relationships with all key stakeholders and the CEO’s time is spent with the most important contacts.
Leadership: You will help the CEO priorities work and align them based on strategic importance through regular communication with the CEO both onsite and offsite and train the CEO on how best to work with you for smooth work relation.
Administrative Support: The CoS will schedule and manage the CEOs time, ensuring that he is prepared for every meeting and every meeting is a high leverage use of his time. This will include managing and arranging the CEO’s travel schedule and preparing expense reports.
Event Planning & Content Creation: Oversee the creation of all external materials including presentations and speeches, as well as the planning of key events.

You have between 5 – 15 years relevant experience.
You have experience in the Chief of Staff or similar-type position. Past experience in management consulting a plus.
You’re obsessively detail-oriented.

You’re an excellent collaborator, who is candid, honest, and kind with feedback, and always looking to learn and improve.
