Chief of Programs Accountant Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Oversight of all program implementation through partners in Kenya.
Capacity building within partners.
Resource mobilization and planning.
Lead program implementation strategy.
Develop the country program within strategic objectives.
Maintain productive relations with stakeholders, partners, local authorities, humanitarian actors, and donors.
Represent the country program to authorities, donors, partners, and relevant forums.
Ensure the program meets ethical standards, and requirements.
Promote professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all representations.
Collaborate with government institutions and the private sector.
Build culturally sensitive and collaborative relationships.
Ensure compliance with grant requirements, financial management, and reporting.
Overall accountability for security, policy adherence, and safeguarding.
Oversee finance, administrative services, and supply chain processes in the country.

Qualifications:

Degree in relevant fields (Public Administration, Nonprofit/NGO/International organization management, Business administration, International development/Humanitarian work, Development economics).
15+ years of dynamic professional leadership experience in the development world.
8+ years of managing a diverse, countrywide team of 20+ employees and managing multiple partners
5+ years building capacity across multi-organization implementation teams.
Experience launching new investments, building successful partnerships, or scaling existing services.
Experience managing and developing other leaders.
Strong communication skills with executives, peers, teams, and beneficiaries or clients.
Deep understanding and passion for gender-based work.
Capacity to drive toward results in a dynamic and fluid work context
