Chief of Party Job Responsibilities
Serve as the activity’s primary liaison with USAID/Kenya, international and regional partners, and host-country government officials
Ensure complete and timely delivery of all results and compliance with local laws, USAID rules and regulations, and Chemonics policies and practices
Oversee the design, quality control, development, and completion of assessments, analytical reports, and evaluations
Supervise senior staff and team leads, providing constructive performance and professional development guidance, and delegate oversight responsibilities as needed
Oversee the work and performance of short-term consultants and consortium partnersQualifications:
Requirements for the Chief of Party Job
Advanced degree in a related field of study, such as finance and investment, business management, and enterprise development
Minimum 15 years of experience in financial and investment advisory services, private sector capacity development, and public and private sector engagement
Proven leadership in administering international donor support programs of a similar size, with strong strategic planning, management, supervisory, and budgeting skills
Ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse partners and lead multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of the Kenyan finance and investment sector preferred
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
Fluent English required
