PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Demonstrate proven capabilities of improving portfolio quality and loss ratios, achieving both top and bottom-line targets.
Contributing to the strategic and tactical planning and management of the entire business proposing medium and short-term plans and key objectives of the Company.
Defining and providing advice on policy matters affecting the Company.
Ensuring timely preparation and submission of monthly or quarterly (as appropriate) performance reports to the Board of Directors or relevant committees of the Board.
Preparing the annual Budgets (including forecast, expenditure and capital budgets) in accordance with set timetables.
Monitoring and controlling functional head performance through cost and achievement gainst annual targets and budgets.
Creating and sustaining strong brand equity for the company in the industry.
Spearheading change culture and work ethics whilst embedding critical success factors.
Overall management of the business, ensuring that the financial budgets are achieved (both current year and the 5 year plan) by achieving growth targets for Group Life, Credit Life, Individual Life and Deposit Administration business lines.
Monitor & evaluate sector performance, identify bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions.
Initiate and harness inter-departmental dialogue
