Job Description

Our client, a leading BMO in Kenya, is looking for a CEO to head the Secretariat and provide leadership in helping the Board of Directors achieve the Organization’s Strategic Intent.

We are looking to recruit a strong dynamic visionary leader to drive change, innovation and transformation of the association. The main objective of this role is to develop, maintain and promote a management philosophy that culminates in member satisfaction and employee engagement, while consistently achieving the mandates of the annual/long term financial and strategic plans of the Organization.

Familiarity with the practical and financial aspects of managing a BMO.
Excellent communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, personal initiative, decision-making, and ability to manage complex activities involving coordination with multiple project partners.

Requirements

Academic, Professional Qualifications and Relevant Experience

A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or related field.  
Specialized Training/Professional Qualifications.
Professional training in leadership and management, corporate governance and strategic management.
Proficiency in use of computer packages.
Over 10 years’ relevant working experience in a Managerial Position and preferably 5 years in a Senior Management position in a BMO with overall multi-functional responsibility.
