Chef/Cook

Our client based in Nairobi is looking for a Chef/Cook who will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily kitchen activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure food is prepared on timely manner according customers’ order at all times.
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Check quality of ingredients.
Ensure appealing food presentation.
Ensure proper kitchen hygiene at all times.

Qualifications:

Food Safety Knowledge.
Diploma or certificate in Food and Beverage Management.
Prior Hospitality working experience.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) Analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
