Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter at Brookhill Projects Limited, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Day-to-day tasks may include measuring, cutting, and shaping wood with hand tools, power tools, and various woodworking machinery. The Carpenter will also be responsible for framing, finish carpentry work, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry
Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools
Experience and skills in Framing
Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail skills
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in carpentry
Relevant certification or trade qualification in carpentry
