Business Process Analyst

Position summary:

The Technology department is responsible for the Development, Realization and Implementation of the  strategic Digital Product Roadmap for Rainforest Alliance (including all supporting Technology processes), for all Global Business Initiatives and Assurance programs. “Information Office” is one of the four teams under Technology Department.
It is responsible for planning and leading implementation of leading technology ecosystem that will enable achievement of the 2030 strategy. Ensure alignment of technology investment and initiatives with the business goals, requirements and expectations and ensure optimal utilization of investments in technology and delivery of services by the technology vendors across the organization.
Within the Information Office is the “Business Architecture” team. This team is responsible for ensuring business strategies, goals and objective are translated into optimal business process for automation. The team is also responsible for ensuring user requirements are clearly communicated through leading practices such as user personna’s to describe end users of the applications, user stories and customer journeys.
The Business Process Analyst, is part of the Business Architecture team and is responsible for business process modelling and identification of optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities: 

Define, implement and maintain the RA process framework and BPM standards
Work with business representatives to identify As-Is, transitional and To-Be business processes, process relationships, roles and responsibilities.
Use TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma, Value Streams Analysis, Kaizen, etc to drive operational and business efficiency
Identify and manage the business processes improvement plan to shape the digitally enabled Business Strategy; drive operational and business efficiency; and the technology portfolio prioritization process;
Model/migrate existing  processes into BIC and validate with the stakeholders, also identifying new BIC catalogue requirements to enhance organization utilization
Train/coach other colleagues as required on BPM and analysis

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree preferably in business/commerce or computer/software engineering
At least three years’ experience in process analysis and modelling in a changing environment
Experience and knowledge of BPMN, process modelling tools, e.g. “BIC Process Design” and improvement frameworks, e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc
Experience/knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the associated tooling such as JIRA and agile project management will be an advantage.
Professional certification in processes documentation and modelling will be added advantage
