Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our business development officer be personable and professional.
Responsibilities
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Champion social media strategy and presence.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current clients while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
Maintaining client records.
Answering client questions about products, prices, and availability.
