KEY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
To implement Alternative Distribution strategy by selecting, recruiting, training and retaining quality and talented partner development team through coaching and mentoring
To grow and lead the Alternative Distribution team into a high performance culture and promote customer centric service in support of high levels of partner engagement and satisfaction so as to achieve APA Life strategic goals
To establish performance goals for the partners, effectively monitor their progress to ensure achievement of targets and provide technical support
To entrench performance based reviews of partner development team in line with their customized set targets
To create and manage cost efficiencies and reduction of risks to remain within agreed expense budgets
To collaborate closely with interfacing departments on developing new products, processes and incentives for partners to drive sales activities
To ensure monitoring & review of customer service and operational efficiency to align to company standards and SLA implementation.
To develop and maintain relationship with partners to ensure improved business relations with all customers and other potential partners
To take full ownership and accountability for achieving set targets through effective management, marketing and development of the Alternative Distribution team.
To ensure compliance with statutory and internal control processes
To proactively recruit and train new partners and creatively penetrate them through offering unique individual life distribution strategies and value propositions
To grow and defend the market share through constant engagement with the partners to understand gaps and competitor activities that can be leveraged on and for competitive position of the brand respectively
To support partner development through coaching, sales motivation and effective management of sales incentives
To constantly exude energy and positivity, and communicate the possibilities to keep the drive alive within the partner development team
To drive partner development team to embrace change and achieve both their personal goals and business targets
To drive APA Life dominance across partners through provision and facilitation of ordinary life products training
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Insurance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
ACII/AIIK or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Member of a relevant professional industry related body
EXPERIENCE
At least 8 years of experience in selling of life insurance products –
Previous experience in partner development environment
Previous experience in managing insurance sales team
Understanding of retail sales dynamics
