Business Development Lead

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Create a sales pipeline
Negotiate pricing with customers with guidance from HOD
Increase sales of the business
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Draw up client contracts and facilitate the signing of the same.
Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
Help to plan sales campaigns

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in business , marketing or related field 
5 Years experience in selling SAAS 

Essential Skills

Good research and investigative skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Organizational skills and detail orientated
Fluent English, Verbal and written skills required
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and collaborate efficiently with a remote team
Good understanding of technology

Desirable Skills

Experience in a sales / business development role for SaaS products
