Position Overview:
As a Business Development Executive for VAS Solutions, you should have experience in Software Sales, SMS Solutions, USSD, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and strategically promoting our solutions to achieve revenue growth and market penetration.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop a business development strategy to achieve set out revenue goals
Carry out market research in order to identify new business opportunities
Periodically analyze the usage of all registered accounts on all platforms to determine the active and dormant clients.
For all dormant accounts, liaise with your respective manager to determine causes of dormancy and ways of promoting consumption of SMS units.
Work closely with customers, promotions and sales campaigns that seeks to increase business volumes and more revenue streams.
Promptly and efficiently respond to prospects via calls, emails, website, web-chat, walk-in customers and social media platforms with a view to converting them to active customers.
Seek to sell the company and its products to prospective customers and promote products and services offered as the best, most affordable and delivered with utmost efficiency in the region.
Develop a robust yet a sustainable business plan with customers to increase message traffics and grow revenue for existing and also new clients
Develop a short, concise and creative strategy to retain the clients including conducting short interviews with a view to get feedback and incorporate it into the business growth.
Cultivate and maintain an excellent customer relationship culture in order to ensure optimal customer retention as well as grow referrals business.
Have periodic meeting with customers to establish challenges they could be facing and offer solutions and offer support services to the clients.
Seek referrals from satisfied and happy customers in order to ensure more business through existing customer networks
Research on upcoming events, platforms, forums and activities suitable to promote company products and gain new clients and represent the company on this events.
Update company power point presentation as well other marketing/promotional materials, prospects contact list.
Preparation of progress sales reports on weekly basis by the line manager.
Minimum Qualification & Skills
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in IT field or related discipline.
Demonstrate outstanding professional competence in sales and marketing.
Must be results driven and high ability to close sale on first attempt.
High standards of integrity and honesty.
Knowledge in digital marketing an added advantage.
