Business Applications and Channels Officer

Job Summary;
This role is responsible for providing guidance on respective ICT systems and associated ICT dependencies (The core operating systems, databases, infrastructure etc.), as well as day-to-day management of said ICT systems. This role is also responsible for driving collaborative support between IT unit, business users and external parties.
Further to the above the unit is responsible in Implement Delivery Channel strategies for all customer segments to achieve effective channel use, sales and customer satisfaction targets.
General ICT Technical Duties and Responsibilities;

Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for spending and initiatives associated with ICT systems and associated dependencies.
Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in ICT systems and resources.
Assist in ICT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing ICT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future ICT systems across the organization.
Promote ongoing relationships between internal ICT resources and external entities, including suppliers, vendors, and partner organizations.
Designing and instituting an effective information security program to secure ICT infrastructure, systems, and corporate information, from internal and external threats through the implementation of security systems and controls and ensuring compliance to the same.
Develop and implement effective ICT aspects of the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Program (BCP / DRP) that will ensure availability, accessibility, and continuity of the organization’s ICT environment.

Business application duties and responsibilities.

Ensure operational efficiency and a seamless product relationship experience for    customers.
Accountable for managing mobile lending platform and other channels to maximize performance through increased business volumes.
Driving and managing cross selling on all services through the channels.
Formulating and implementing sales initiatives and marketing strategies
