Objective
The primary objective is to develop and design a visually compelling and comprehensive Brand Guide Manual that reflects Flone Initiative’s mission, vision, and values, ensuring consistent and professional representation.
Scope of Work
Research and Analysis
Conduct a brand audit of existing materials to identify gaps and strengths.
Engage with Flone Initiative stakeholders to understand the organization’s ethos,
audience, and aspirations.
Core Brand Elements Development
Refine or update existing branding components (logo, tagline, etc.) as needed.
Define and document core brand elements, including:
Logo and its variations (primary, secondary, monochrome).
Typography (primary and secondary fonts, size hierarchy).
Color palette with detailed codes (CMYK, RGB, HEX).
Iconography and graphic elements.
Brand Voice and Messaging
Develop a tone of voice and messaging framework tailored to Flone’s audience.
Provide examples of core messages, taglines, and content style.
Brand Guide Manual Design
Design a visually engaging and user-friendly Brand Guide Manual
Include practical guidelines for implementing the brand across: print materials (brochures, posters, letterheads, etc.), digital platforms (social media, websites, email newsletters),presentations and reports, and event branding and signage.
Templates and Assets
Provide customizable design templates for core materials (e.g., PowerPoint slides, social media posts, business cards, etc.).
Deliver high-quality digital assets for all brand elements.
Capacity Building
Conduct a training session for Flone Initiative’s team to familiarize them with the Brand Guide Manual and its practical applications.
Deliverables and Timeline
Inception report with research findings—Week 1
Draft brand elements and concept designs—Week 3
Draft Brand Guide Manual (design included)—Week 5
Final Brand Guide Manual (print and editable formats)—Week 7
Training session and delivery of templates—Week 8
Qualications and Experience
The consultant/firm should have:
Proven experience in branding and visual identity development, particularly for NGOs or
social organizations.
Expertise in graphic design, branding, and communications.
Strong design portfolio, showcasing brand guidelines and manuals.
Ability to integrate themes of gender equity and sustainable mobility into branding.
Reporting and Supervision
The consultant/firm will report to Flone Initiative’s Executive Director or a designated representative.
Regular feedback sessions will be conducted to ensure the work aligns with Flone’s expectations.
Budget and Payment Terms
Applicants should submit a detailed financial proposal, including:
Professional fees.
Costs for design software, tools, and templates
Payment Structure
30% upon signing the contract.
40% upon submission of the draft Brand Guide Manual.
30% upon delivery of the final manual and training session.
