Brand Operations Manager

ROLE PURPOSE
Our client a leading retail fast food organization is seeking to engage the services of a  Brand Operations Manager who shall be responsible for managing the daily affairs of the specific brand stores in such a manner that daily turnovers, and budgeted gross profits are attained through the consistent upholding of set operation standards whilst enhancing fulfillment of total customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership

Create a balance between motivating and Reprimanding the direct reports Instill discipline
Enforce coaching and mentoring
Ensure consistent and strict adherence to standard operating procedures and brand standards
Effective communication with the General Manager, Shop Managers as well as support team from the head office
Oversee the operation f specific brand stores to ensure the achievement of maximum sales and profit through a motivated, high performing and skilled team

Customer Service

Ensure provision of satisfactory customer service and value for money
Give frequent feedback to General Manager in relation to customer complaints, and their perceptions in regards to the business
Ensure customer complaints are solved promptly and accurately
Ensure customers are handled in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
Ensure customers are happy, informed, and satisfied at all times

Marketing (In close liaison with the marketing department)

In conjunction with the marketing department, analyze all promotions or new products highlighting problem areas and recommending appropriate actions to rectify the situation.
To be constantly aware of competitors’ activities and changing market trends
To organize and coordinate any special functions designed to improve the relationship between the company, its customers and suppliers
To work with shop managers and ensure that every store in the group grows year on year in customer count as well as turnover

Compliance

Ensure product quality meets the standards for hygiene, safety, and sanitation
Upholds commitment to all safety and sanitation practices
Evaluate health and safety practices against standards
Manages standards and commitment to quality by emphasizing the need to deliver quality products and service
Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating according to set operational standards

Financial Management

Ensure all stores are operating according to set targets and budgets in terms of:- profitability, labor cost advantage, turnover, gross profit, overheads, cost of sales, wastage, and food costs.
Analyze business performance numerically to show business performance by periods, budgets, and history.
Ensure the shops attain financial growth year on year, month on month with increased customer numbers while paying close attention to average spending.
Critically analyze the profit and loss statements for individual shops within the designated regions and give recommendations accordingly.
Ensure on a regular basis that checks are done to ascertain that banking procedures are followed to the latter. Also, check on complex float and cash till float during shop visits.
Ensure the daily report summaries in all shops are clean and signed by both the accountant and shop manager. The stock variances must be accounted for

QUALIFICATIONS

University degree from a recognized institution
Operational senior management experience managing approximately 8 stores
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong organizational & analytical skills
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficient
Ability to interact at all levels
