As a Brand Communications Intern, you will help us amplify our brand, and tell our brand story in an inspiring, compelling, and meaningful way. You will support the FTA Communications Team in delivering brand communications around an exciting new brand project and coordinating with colleagues in various other functions at the secretariat and regional offices.
Your Role Will Include:
Brand & Communications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives (within reasonable scope), remaining flexible and willing to contribute.
Support in project documentation with a key focus on impact collation, dissemination, and visibility.
Creativity and Ideation
Offering ideas, bringing genuine enthusiasm and creativity to the table
Keeping your team updated with any brand activity, creative executions, media news, and related topics.
Project Work
Taking ownership of essential tasks related to project implementation and delivering them to a high standard
Responsibility for managing regular day-to-day routines including reporting
Any other duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
University Degree in Media, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism
Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in communication or brand PR is an added advantage
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using a computer and various office software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Presentations.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Must be a good team player with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and tolerance
Highly adaptive and able to work under minimum supervision
Ability to collect information from the field
