Brand Activation Specialist

Job Description
The ideal candidate will be tasked with a key role to develop and implement marketing activation programmes to support the delivery of volume, turnover, gross margin and market share targets for cross channels/ customers in East Africa. S/He will be incharge of Annual marketing plan, activation of marketing activities in market, product portfolio management, product launches, in market ASP.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Cluster Manager (East Africa) for the brand and Marketing Leadership & marketing teams of the local market partners to plan & deliver marketing activation plans with full stakeholder alignment. to drive in year performance & strategic goals. (For the East Africa region)
Plan and manage ASP budget to deliver marketing plans.
Coordinate & collect market insights of key competitor activity within applicable competition law.
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan to deliver volume, turnover and gross margin targets. (For each partner country and country distributors)
Connect as appropriate with the Africa, META marketing teams to ensure appropriate product portfolio, for the East African markets.
Monitor all marketing and activation activity, with post evaluations covering results, ROI and learnings.
Manages product portfolio in line with East Africa according to strategical ambitions, makes sure the portfolio meets local needs within global guardrails; identify gaps, launch new products, identify simplification opportunities and improvement areas

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or related studies
7+ experience in B2B and B2C marketing activation in the oil & gas industry with at least 3 years in a marketing management role.
Very conversant in marketing campaign execution.
Hands on experience managing agencies across multiple channels and Markets in East Africa
