Maintains boiler systems, overseeing maintenance, enforcing safety protocols, and adjusting controls.
Key Responsibilities
To continually support and improve engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and employees
Be willing to train and instruct other members of the staff by passing along knowledge and skills to assist them in their development and the advancement of your own.
Checking the efficiency of the heating system and thermostats.
Observation and recording of pressure gauge and meter readings.
Adjusting the fuel and fluid levels of the boiler.
Inspection of boilers, pipes and valves for leaks and malfunctions.
Periodic cleaning of the ducts and elimination of limescale or other corrosive deposits.
Repair of the boiler, water treatment equipment or storage tanks.
Install replacement parts of the boiler in case of failure, including pipes and heating elements.
Detect emissions generated by combustion.
Keeping of routine boiler maintenance records.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.
To understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.
To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
Desired Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
At least two years of experience in a similar role.
Relevant certification by a recognized organisation
Very good knowledge of building equipment: heating, operation
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
Computer literacy adapted to the field of training
