Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, tech oriented Account Executive to service and grow accounts for our social media tech division, Blue Robot, across Greater Africa from our Nairobi office.
The position requires daily communication with our East, Central, and West African based agencies and brands. You will be comprehensively trained on Blue Robot’s product set and be expected to deliver on quarterly sales targets.
Blue Robot has developed a technology that allows brands to interact automatically with audiences across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. Blue Robot shortens the path between creative ideas and execution, leveraging the complete functionality offered by various public and private API’s. Typical day to day operations consists of:
Educating agencies & brands on Blue Robot’s capabilities
Forging and maintaining valued client relationships
Gaining in-depth understanding of our client’s needs and challenges
Preparing and presenting thought provoking proposals
Managing communications with agencies & brands and ensuring optimal campaign performance
Liaising with our Cape Town operations team for day-to-day support
Closing deals with existing clients and identifying opportunities for new leads and repeat business
This is a 6 month contract which will be extended based on performance
Desired Skills and Experience:
General
Digital media sales experience
Passion for tech innovation
Good presentation skills – both spoken & written
Good numerical skills & attention to detail
Ambitious and positive self starter attitude
Qualifications and Experience
Undergraduate degree
Minimum 3 years experience in digital media sales

Experienced with Keynote and Hubspot CRM
