BIM Manager

Task and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Control Risks BIM execution plan and associated CAD standards.
Design, develop and deliver a programme of technical training to the team.
Manage, allocated and oversee tasks allocated to the team.
Be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of technical drawings and models in Revit and AutoCad developed by the team.
Attend virtual project BIM coordination meetings for projects across EMEA and be able to communicate clearly and confidently to resolve technical issues.
Use ‘out of the box’ thinking to add value to security designs
Innovate to find more efficient and better ways to produce security designs

Requirements

An HNC (Higher National Diploma) or HND (Higher National Certificate) in a subject related to construction, such as civil engineering.
Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with 5+ years experience in an architecture or MEP engineering practice.
Extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes.
Experience of clash detection/resolution process using both Navisworks and Revit.
Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environments and QA systems.
Knowledge of Cobie Data applicable to MEP/ security drawings.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Excellent IT skills.
