Job Description
The BSO Bancassurance will source, manage, retain, and report on all Sales activity in the business territory assigned and focus on the distribution of Life Insurance products across all banking channel partners to achieve business Sales Targets. The post holder will report to the Business Development Manager-Bancassurance.
Strategy and Planning

Ensure Sales budget is met for the branch assigned
Develop field Sales plans and activities in liaison with immediate supervisor
Monitor Life insurance opportunities and offer customized solutions.
Execute the Life business Plan covering all insurance products across all the business based on business targets in alignment with Insurance Partners.
Have great grasp of all life insurance opportunities across all segments of Retail, Community and SME.
Sales Development/Operational Workflow
Active involvement in selling of Life Insurance Products to meet expected targets
Ensuring Sales governance procedures are followed in acquisition of business.
Offer market intelligence from Assigned branch on Sales activities
Ensure that all Insurance business acquired is booked and to an excellent customer experience level.
Ensure Sales persistency of over 80% of business booked through exceptional customer service
Use of Digital tools in sourcing, managing, and retaining life insurance business

Compliance

Will be responsible for compliance to the agreed renumeration model for Sales teams and offer improvement feedback from the market
100% compliance to banks policies and procedures

Functional Skills

Excellent knowledge l insurance products and processes, regulatory requirements as well as ability to drive Sales performance and revenues.
Demonstratable relationship management skills in dealing with varied teams to push insurance agenda and purpose.
Good understanding of Insurance customer experience by understanding the claims journey as per SLA’s.
Demonstrated capacity to work in a team set up and collaborate with colleagues for maximum business value
Visible excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
