Baker Senior Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty baked items •Follow recipes and ensure consistent quality and presentation of products
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in adherence to health and safety standards
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
Manage inventory and ensure efficient use of baking ingredients
Collaborate with the wider culinary team to meet guest expectations

Qualifications:

Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts
Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant
Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of presentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
