Position Description
Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position
Have a clear understanding of the use, maintenance and cleaning procedures of all equipment.
Take 100% responsibility for the quality of baked items and display
Follow guidelines always as far as portion sizes, cooking and baking techniques
Keep products at a sufficient level to ensure smooth service.
Portion bulk cooked and dry ingredients and store as per Mugg & Bean specifications
Bake products required for kitchen sections.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
Always follow safe food handling practices
Maintain daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Receive products for the daily baking activities and sign for the issued stock
Follow the recipes as per the bakery recipe file
Perform any reasonable task as requested by management
Relieve or assist in other sections if and when necessary
Education and Experience
Diploma/certificate in a hospitality and tourism management/food production.
Minimum of 1-year relevant working experience
