Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF) and Flask;
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code;
Deploy APIs to cloud platforms;
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain up-time and performance;
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications;
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and shared knowledge within the team;
Document development processes, DevOps practices, and operational procedures;
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology products;
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile/web technologies;
Performing other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Certification in Software engineering, an added advantage.
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
Proficiency in R programming and any JavaScript framework.
Experience working with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.
Experience in Agile Development/ software life-cycle development.
Preferred experience working with Linux-based OS is an added advantage.
