B2C Sales project lead Digital Marketing Intern Head of B2B Sales Channel

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Sales project lead in B2C (North-eastern region) to join our company at an exciting phase of growth.
The purpose of this role is to lead the B2C Channels expansion in the Northeastern region charcoal business unit. This includes creating and implementing a channel sales strategy, driving growth within the region, market research, and input to the data collection process through registration, credibility, and verification of Burn stoves.
The person will be tasked to provide the best route to market strategy and build a sales structure of Team leaders and agents that will support the growth agenda.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a B2C penetration and sales strategy for the North Eastern Kenya region and drive sales and volume growth in the region.
Expansion: Open new markets and relationships and expand regional coverage.
Team Management: Build, train, and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers, BURN sales executives and B2B Partner agents across the country.
Carbon Monitoring and Evaluation: Ensure all Monitoring and Evaluation of carbon project requirements are adhered to, specifically that stoves are sold to households that meet predefined criteria and quality data is collected from every end-end user.
Sales Support Initiatives: Propose sales support initiatives & campaigns that will drive the sales growth agenda and in conjunction with marketing.
Sales Forecasting: Monitor and analyze indirect channel sales volumes, pipeline activity and competitive activity and develop plans to beat the set targets. Monitor and manage product line sales activity across the channels to ensure it meets the company’s standards/ parameters.
Reporting: Produce analytical reports for the Management team on the performance of the Indirect Sales Team, including analyzing key sales, marketing, carbon registration, and regional team performance metrics. Provide regular forecasts (city and region level) to the Management team.

Skills & Experience

B2C Sales experience in the North-Eastern Region of Kenya not less than 3 years.
A track record of high performance in a related role/project in the region.
B2C team management experience, including hiring, retaining & motivating a large team.
A good understanding of data, including analysis and developing actionable insights.
Experience in market research and integrating this into a sales approach.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.
Able to use Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to produce and present professional Strategy, reports, accurate forecasts, and oversee channel sales plans.
