Job Descriptions:
Panel Beater
A panel beater will be responsible for repairing and restoring the bodywork of damaged vehicles. This includes repairing dents, scratches, and other damage to the vehicle’s exterior. The ideal candidate should have experience with welding, sanding, and painting vehicles. Additionally, a panel beater must be able to work efficiently and communicate effectively with clients.
LPV Mechanic
An LPV mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in light passenger vehicles such as cars and vans. The ideal candidate should have experience with engine repairs, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems. They should be able to work with minimal supervision, have good communication skills, and be able to work under pressure.
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
A heavy vehicle mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and buses. The ideal candidate should have experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and air brakes.
They should also have experience with welding and be able to work with diagnostic equipment. Additionally, they should be able to work under pressure, have good communication skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Skillset Required:
Relevant work experience as a panel beater, LPV or heavy vehicle mechanic
Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and their systems
Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
Good communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
