Associate Consultant – Human Resource

JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resource Associate Consultant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to HR management and operations. S/he shall oversee HR processes, handle employee relations, conduct training and development programs, and ensure effective communication within the organization. The Associate Consultant will oversee various human resource projects, providing valuable advice on human capital management. This role will involve optimizing day-to-day HR processes, including recruitment, and implementing strategic HR plans and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of human resource management, with a strong background in consulting and hands-on experience in resolving HR issues. We are looking for strategic thinkers and problem-solvers who excel in communication and have a track record of maximizing HR value.
The Associate Consultant’s primary objective will be to enhance client HR initiatives, contributing to the overall success of assigned organizations. By leveraging your expertise, we aim to achieve efficient and effective HR operations that positively impact our business partners.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Initiate and lead human resource programs and projects
Provide advice and recommendations to resolution of daily HR issues
Formulate strategic and practical plans to address human resource matters
Assist in recruiting, training and management of talent
Devise plans and techniques to drive change and culture management
Assist in the development and integration of policies
Select and implement suitable HR technology and support implementation and or optimization
Help establish control systems for compliance with business methods and HR practices
Review systems and processes and make modifications to address issues
Refurbish knowledge of advancements in the field and present new ideas

SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
HND in Human resource an added advantage
Full Member of IHRM
Proven experience as a HR Consultant managing generalist roles in a busy corporate environment
Ability to strategize and formulate HR plans
Experience in project management preferably HR related projects
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
Resilient with the ability to be agile and to withstand changing business needs
An understanding of local labor laws and regulations in Kenya
Computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource information systems
An analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities
Able to form partnerships, drive business uptake and navigate the corporate landscape while working with business leaders and staff across all levels.
