Basic Salary Scale: Ksh.32,700 – Ksh.42,690 p.m. (CSG 11/Job Group ‘J’)
House Allowance: Ksh.10,000 – Ksh.5,000 p.m.
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 p.m.
Leave Allowance: Ksh.4,000 p.a.
Annual Leave: 30 working days p.a.
Medical Cover: As provided by the Government
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
A Diploma in Technical Education (Accounting) or a Diploma in Accounting and a Diploma in Education/Technical Education or a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
Must be accredited and licensed by TVET Authority or registrable by TVETA; and
Be a member of a relevant professional body (where applicable).
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-
Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
Setting and marking examination/assignment;
Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work
