Assistant to Project Manager

Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate project activities, including but not limited to training activities for the project.
Liaising with field level project stakeholders including seed suppliers, extension, other REACT-IN partners concerning project details and deliverables
Monitor day-to-day project activities as per the work plans to ensure due dates are met.
Manage the communication of project information to relevant stakeholders.
Collate data and information for preparation of project documentation and reporting.
Coordinate project logistics such as delivery of micronutrient enriched (biofortified) seeds to farmers in project sites.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in development studies, agriculture, nutrition, project management, or any related field of study with a minimum of two years relevant experience.
Relevant professional certification
Experience working with private and public stakeholders
Proficiency in computer MS suite
Strong written and oral communication including report writing skills
Excellent multitasking skills and to work under pressure with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills
Highly organized.
Experience in project monitoring and progress reporting is an advantage.
