Key Responsibilities
In-charge of a section
Deal with Human Resource matters in the University
Supervise data processing for administrative planning
Supervise administrative information processing and dissemination.
Supervise administrative communication with staff/students
Supervise administrative records management
Supervise general office services
Ensure implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Taking minutes in departmental meetings and ensure timely implementation of decisions.
Ensure proper maintenance of records.
Facilitating meetings, conferences and other special events
Ensuring provision of office equipment and materials.
Maintaining and updating furniture and office equipment inventory.
Ensuring maintenance of records of all University assets and properties including title deeds, log books and insurance covers.
Overseeing telephone, registry and secretarial services.
Coordinate provision of office accommodation.
Preparing budget.
Ensuring preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
For appointment to this post, a candidate must;
Have Master’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration or Human
Resource Management or other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
Have Bachelor’s degree from recognized institution.
Be computer literate.
Attendance of a senior management or other professional course lasting more than four weeks will be an added advantage.
Have exemplary work performance.
Candidate must have at least 6 years’ cumulative experience in Human Resource Management and Administration.

Salary Scale Kshs.108,714 – Kshs.155,461 per month
Terms of Service Three (3) year contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance
