Assistant Meetings & Events Sales Manager

Key Duties:

Execute activities in assigned market segments to meet budgeted goals.
 Assist in developing annual sales goals and preparing offers and contracts. Coordinate with the operations team to maintain high-quality standards. Use guest feedback to enhance services and procedures.
Maximize hotel revenue by effectively managing bookings and events. Assist in monthly reporting and update activities on salesforce.com.
Seek and develop new sales leads, managing client relationships. Communicate guest requests across departments promptly.
Support project development in line with the hotel marketing plan. Assist in managing and motivating the meetings & events sales team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in Meetings & Events at an upscale hotel. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for hospitality.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera is an advantage.
