Assistant Manager, Marketing & Communication Marketing Officer, Retail Activations & Branch Expansion

PURPOSE:

The role is responsible for Corporate Brand Image & Brand Visibility, Product Positioning Campaigns, and Reputation Management through Public Relations, Advertising, Events and Sponsorships Management and Branding targeted at prospective and existing customers, investors, community, media to create corporate brand awareness, build brand equity and drive product consideration & usage.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Assistant Manager, Marketing & Communication, you will be part of the Bank’s Marketing team and you will report to the Senior Manager, Business Marketing & Communication and shall be responsible for:

Product Marketing

Development and execution of marketing plans for Treasury, CIB, Products (Asset Finance, TB, Mortgage), Bancassurance, MSME, Capital & Burbidge Business Units.
Coordinate with aforementioned business units on the execution of marketing initiatives.
Develop Go to Market plans for new products/initiatives under the aforementioned dockets.
Internal & External Communication planning & coordination with the Digital team to ensure scheduling of content.

Media Planning and Management

Develop media buying plans for aforementioned business units in collaboration with the media buying agency.

Advertising (Agency Relations and Creative Brief developments)

Develop creative briefs for marketing campaigns and collateral.
Review Marketing Collateral artworks.
Manage agency relations including weekly status meetings and reporting.

Budgeting and Contracting

Management of allocated budgets on monthly basis.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or in a related field/and or a Professional diploma e.g. CIM or CIPR.

 Professional Qualifications

Relevant professional qualifications and membership where applicable.

 Experience

4+ years of demonstrated working experience in Marketing.
