Assistant Manager – Credit Control Assistant Accountant – Credit

Duties and Responsiblities

Preparation of bad debt provision and aging as per IFRS 9.
Preparation of weekly credit control management reports.
Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely 
payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention
Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the production team.
Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the company.
Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the production team Creating credit scoring models for risk assessments.
Fully involved in internal and external audit.

Reduction in company debtor book.
Reduction in DSO.
Timely preparation of credit control reports.

Professional and Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business related course.
CPA (K) or ICM (K).
5 of years’ work experience in a credit control role
