Assistant, Development and Outreach (Americas Initiatives) Senior Counsel, International Justice Program

Responsibilities

Maintain the donor database by updating Americas Initiatives donor and prospect records and information;
Draft prospect profiles based on research into individual and foundation prospects;
Provide support with developing donor engagement tools, including monthly newsletters; and
Perform other responsibilities as may be required.

Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is desired. Those currently enrolled in university courses are encouraged to apply.
Experience: One year of relevant work experience is desirable.
Related Skills And Knowledge

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required.
Prior office or administration experience and proficiency in computer programs including MS Office applications, especially Excel, are required; experience with Salesforce or other donor databases is highly desirable.
Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize and work independently as well as function as a member of a team with staff in multiple global locations are required.
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail are required.
The ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities, working effectively toward deadlines is required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences, including donors and external partners are required.
Basic skills in graphic design are desirable.
Strong interest in or experience with human rights issues is desirable.
