Builders Warehouse seeks to employ skilled dynamic professionals with the relevant experience in our new store in Karen Waterfront.
Functions / responsibilities:
Must be fluent in English and Swahili
Ensure all subordinates meet performance standards
Development of Asset Protection staff
Supervision and control of contract security personnel
Ensure circumference of Company’s premises secure
Ensure all Staff and management adhere to Company policy and procedure
Checking that proper controls are applied in Yard, Receiving and Dispatch
Responsible for daily counts on high risk merchandise
Managing all shorts and overs, assist accounts department with follow ups / underbanks and R/Ds
Ensure all administrative procedures are adhered to
Assist stock control department in ensuring the maintenance of high operational admin standards.
Managing investigations
Patrolling Sales area to ensure that Customers and Staff do not partake in stock theft
Conduct shrinkage audits on all departmentsEnsure timeous submission of Shrinkage/ Audit ReportsEnsure correct authorization of in-store stock adjustments.Implement and proactively manage safety procedures as per the ActEfficient execution of ad hoc requests from admin departmentMUST BE KENYA CITIZEN
Requirements:
KCSE certificate (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education)
Tertiary qualification within Safety Management
Proven knowledge and expertise within First Aid and fire fighting
Sound managerial skills
Computer literate on Ms Word, Excel (mastery level), Outlook, SAP, Back Office and Fico
Sound administrative and risk management skills
Excellent interpersonal communication and customer liaison skills
A flexible assertive self-starter, able to work independently with good judgment skills
Manage relationship with Head Office personnel and the centralized finance division
Previous audit and investigation experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with SAMTRAC / ASTRAC exposure
Clear credit & criminal record essential
