Area Sales Manager – South Rift

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the South Rift region. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sales representatives, drive revenue growth, and ensure the company’s objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets and revenue growth.
Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of promotional activities and initiatives.
Oversee stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain to meet demand in the region.

​​​​​​​Key Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Familiarity with the South Rift region and its market dynamics is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office
