ROLE PROFILE
Reporting to the director, you will be responsible for the coordination of operations and performance in the specified region. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring his region meets set targets.
Area Manager Job Responsibilities
Be accountable for ensuring your branches hit their targets each month. Work with your team and use data to make logical decisions about how you will make the branches grow. You will then execute those plans meticulously.
Create and develop a positive team culture for your team (and their teams) while giving positive and critical feedback to help each team member grow within the organization.
Monitor customer satisfaction, making sure customers are excited enough about their experience to come back to our company every time they need a loan and to refer other potential customers.
Cultivate a collaborative working style capable of resolving conflicts and sticking to internal agreements. Communicate openly with your team and others about branch performance.
Submit correct daily reports of all the branches to the director.
Qualifications for the Area Manager
2+ years’ experience managing a team
Experience managing branches is a plus
English and Kiswahili fluency required
Knowledge of credit policies and procedure
They possess excellent planning and organizational skills.
They should have good negotiation skills and debt collection.
Experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure.
Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility.
Must have excellent public relations, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be self-motivated and be ready to work with minimum supervision.
Sufficient knowledge of best practices in sales.
