Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end developers, to define and implement new features.
Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance development processes.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation across the Android development lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store.
Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, with a deep understanding of Android SDK.
Experience with different Android versions and screen sizes, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of devices.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile application integration with back-end services.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of the Android open-source ecosystem and third-party libraries.
Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
