Key Responsibilities
Assist in the origination and development of deal pipelines for alternative investments mainly in Kenya and other countries;•
Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities in energy, mobility, water, and data infrastructure;
Negotiating and structuring investment opportunities;
Develop financial models for investment opportunities;
Review financial models provided for the investment opportunities;
Prepare investment memorandums for the Investment Committee;
Make presentations to the Investment Committee on the opportunities;
Monitor and manage the investments post investments including serving on boards of the investment entities as applicable; and
Provide periodic reporting to the Investment Committee and third-party clients on the performance of these investments.
Requirements
Person Specifications
Be a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or a related discipline from a reputable university;
Possess professional qualifications in Finance e.g., CFA, ICIFA;
At least five (5) years of experience working in Infrastructure and Private Equity funds;
An Engineering background would be an added advantage.
