LINE MANAGER: ADMISSIONS AND LOGISTICS OFFICER
DURATION: FIXED TERM CONTRACT (5 MONTHS)
Overall role purpose:
The M-PESA Foundation Academy is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Admissions Contractors to support the 2026 student admissions process. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to identifying and admitting the next generation of bright, young leaders.
Responsibilities:
Receive, sort, and accurately record all applications in preparation for the longlisting stage.
Rigorously screen applications to ensure only those meeting the Academy’s standards proceed to the next stage, optimizing the effectiveness of the reading process.
Carefully review and evaluate applications to identify candidates eligible for the Finalist Days held across the country.
Submit summary scores to the Admissions Committee to support the selection of finalists for interviews in all 47 counties.
Compile comprehensive reports following interviews and home visits.
Scan, organize, and archive all application documents.
Provide additional clerical support as assigned by the Admissions Officer.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Education, Social Sciences, Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, data management, or similar clerical roles is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable handling digital records.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
