The Accounts Administrator will provide administrative support services that ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the company according to policies and procedures set out by the Management thus helping to achieve the Mission and Vision of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling both administrative tasks and accounting duties, particularly proficient in bookkeeping and experienced in using QuickBooks. This role requires someone who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure smooth office operations.
SALARY: 20K-25K
LEVEL: ENTRY LEVEL
Responsibilities
To run the day to day administrative function of the company
Receive new orders and verify them before dispatch
Ensure that Invoices are issued, Reviewed for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Receiving telephone calls and answering all vendor inquiries
Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files.
Assists Financial manager and branch personnel as necessary
Verifying inventory levels and keeping records
To track and report product stock outs;
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
Proficiency in using QuickBooks is a must
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with MS Office suite, particularly Excel
