About This Role
Reports to: Senior Finance Manager
Responsibilities:

Assist in automating donor reports (in excel and systems)
Assist in monthly close by preparing assigned month-end schedules
Assist in checking that management reports agree with the accounting and reporting systems
Assist in compiling information required for various audits
Timeframe: May-August. Minimum 8 weeks.
Hours: approximately 30-40 per week

Education Requirement:

Undergraduate student studying finance, accounting, or other relevant major

Skills Requirement:

Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping
Ability to handle and manipulate large data sets
Proficient in Excel
Attention to detail

For interns based in Kenya, we provide a monthly stipend of KES 20,000. For those based in other countries in East Africa, we will adjust this to the local market.
