Accountant

Reporting to the Conservancy Manager and with a close working relationship with the NRT finance Department team, the Conservancy Accountant will be responsible for: –

Coordination of the day-to-day activities of the finance department,
Leading and guiding the reporting process,
Ensuring compliance with the conservancy financial policy as well as statutory financial requirements
Ensuring prudent management of donor funds.
Ensuring conservancy operations are running smoothly and effectively.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance or any other related field.
At least a CPA Part II qualification.
Registration with ICPACK will be an added advantage.
A minimum of three years relevant post qualification work experience.
Hands-on knowledge and experience in computerized accounting preferably sage and quick books.
Good financial management skills.
Excellent people management skills.
Good report writing skills.
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
