KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
School Acquisitions

Develop Operational strategies to enroll schools on the School Pay platform from the Banks.
Engage Education Sector stakeholders like Associations, Religious institutions, and banking partners to help in acquisition and achieving of targets.
Acquire commercial schools that will act as model schools for the platform.
Generate a school database from the banks for enrollment and maintain pipelines for all schools.
Supervise a team of sales executives and achieve the set desired targets for the product.

Bank relationship management.

Dealing with school fees requires dealing with destination channel partners who collect and keep the fees on behalf of schools, this relationship needs to be established and maintained to its optimum.
Manage relationship of the banks assigned and ensure schools banked in the bank are on boarded on the school pay platform.
Share regular bank performance on school fees collection and share recommendations to improve and grow usage.
Work with the branch network across the country to support regional teams and enroll schools.

Onboarding and Customer support

After schools have been enrolled data of students is shared and uploaded in the system, this process needs to be managed
Coordinate with the School Pay support team and have the schools on boarded fully on the system.
Run a mini support structure for all schools under portfolio i.e. reset of passwords, login failures, payment reconciliation and complaints.

System Training of Users

Training of users for all on boarded schools.
Ensure schools have access to training manuals and online support training systems.
Coordinate and manage parents training and awareness activities in partnership with the schools.

Drive Usage and retention.

Provide Market insights and develop campaigns to support business growth.
Relationship management of top 20% schools bringing 80% revenue for the product in the portfolio.
Manage Attrition and report on all customers that have dropped off the system and are dormant.
Ensure a good working relationship with all schools is maintained by making sure all schools events is attended by the team and are present to sensitize the parents and students.
Organize regular school activations to drive usage and traffic of the product on Airtel Money.
Conduct marketing activities in schools, radios and Tvs to ensure that product awareness is achieved and Airtel is the preferred brand of choice to be used.

Responsible for delivering Key KPIS

Ensure key KPIs are tracked on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Track and monitor all KPIs of the unit to advise business to take corrective measure frequently.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing or related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in a sales role, sales of any ERP digital systems.
At least 3 years’ experience in hands-on experience in Relationship Management in a B2B field
Strong Business Knowledge – Must have exposure to ERPs, Basic Accounting skills
