Account Executive

Job Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Preparation

Work with an assigned Sales Development Representative to develop a database of target companies in specific sectors for research.
Review and understand executive summaries compiled by the Sales
Development Representative to best understand prospective customers.
Initiate an initial approach with the target company.
Set up discovery meetings to understand the customer requirements and pain points.
Preparing compelling and concise pitch materials for a solution that suits customers’ needs. e.g. Sales deck

Sales Execution

Set up meetings with key stakeholders and decision makers to pitch solutions to customers.
Excellent ambassadorship and representation of the company brand with partners and customers through good discipline and proper behavior.
Communicating clearly the company products and services offered during pitches.
Participating in customer acquisition activities such as:

Tendering

Understanding renewal timelines.
Meeting qualification criteria.
Documentation requirements and procedures.
Customer credit allocation.
Integration planning and execution.
Pricing and proposal preparation
Negotiation and contracting
Know Your Customer checks

Post Sales Management

Ensuring that customer contracting is carried out within agreed timelines.
Work with the assigned Customer Success Manager and Operations
Associate to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers.

Information & Documentation Management

Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and actionable customer information on the Customer Relationship Management(CRM) system
Ensuring that client folders on G-drive are up-to-date and appropriately organized.

Business Development

Gathering intelligence on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
Suggesting appropriate improvements to business processes and work tools.

Collaboration

Cooperating with the finance department by providing timely, accurate, and actionable information and/or data as and when requested.
Escalate bottlenecks to management, product, and tech for the co-creation of workable solutions.
Cooperate with People Operations processes and guidelines as relates to workplace conduct.
