Account Director

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
 
About the role
We are looking for an Account director to undertake account management responsibilities and supervise subordinate staff. Your duties will involve both managing relationships with clients and guiding account personnel.
An effective Account director has great aptitude in building and maintaining customer relationships as well as growing revenues through the effective delivery of integrated marketing programs. They also possess excellent planning and leadership abilities to coordinate and advise account managers, supervisors and executives.
The goal is to ensure the company’s retention of clientele and facilitate further growth.
Key responsibilities

Identify opportunities to up-see and cross-sell 
Understand clients’ business and deliverables and serve as a trusted advisor to drive effective solutions.
Guide the development, writing and presentation of incremental project proposals, scopes of work, schedules and staffing plans. Ensure AIfluence strategies are clearly communicated to clients and approved.
Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all client’s needs are listened to, understood and responded to in a timely way.
Ensure clear communication to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/ action items.
Ensure regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Contribute to proposals explaining strategies, creative solutions, tactics and processes
Develop strong and effective partnerships with operational team members to ensure effective program development and deliver
Create sales and marketing content
Support investor strategy 
Support CMO to optimise cross-functional team efficiency
Support CMO in executing on big picture / long term vision

Qualifications

6-10 years of experience as an Account or Client Services Director working for global agency networks or brands
Excellent relationship management skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge in Salesforce is a plus
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Great interpersonal and communication skill
Proven ability to lead internal and client teams with confidence and poise
Solid understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms 
Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
Excellent  account management competencies: accountability for results, client focus, team effectiveness, developing others, sales drive, organizational sophistication and influencing others.
